SharkBite

Slim Plumbing used SharkBite PEX-a for its flexibility, freeze resistance, and easy installation. This reduces connection points and speeds up rough-ins. Plus, SharkBite PEX pipe meets the highest chlorine resistance and UV standards.

To streamline the rough-in phase of this project, Glover chose to connect his PEX-a pipe with poly expansion fittings. Since these fittings do not require calibration, you can fully connect them in just seconds. SharkBite offers both brass and poly expansion fittings, plugs, adapters, sleeves and more, so check the size, temperature and pressure rating needs of your project to know which is right for you.

HoldRite

Slim Plumbing used HoldRite fixture boxes because they simplify rough-ins and trim-outs. These are preassembled units that eliminate the need to cap a traditional stub-out. They come with an easy to screw on protective cover that protects the unit while other materials like sheetrock, cabinets and fixtures are being installed. It also allows you to pressure test the system at rough-in, saving time.

At trim-out, you only need to unscrew the protective cover, screw on the sleek looking escutcheon and connect the fixtures. Easy to install, saves time and provides a high end, professional appearance.
