- Always mark the insertion depth on your pipe so you know that the fitting is pushed in all the way.
- First generation fittings are specifically designed to ensure a reliable connection but should not be disconnected and reconnected repeatedly. The only way to properly remove SharkBite fittings is to use the SharkBite disconnect tongs, clip or tool.
