Bruce McGrew, the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Hallway Plumbing, is a second-generation plumber dedicated to sustaining the growth of the plumbing trade. According to a report from Bloomberg News, the U.S. is projected to face a shortage of 550,000 plumbing professionals by 2027.

Reliance Worldwide Corporation is dedicated to supporting trade education and empowering plumbers like Hallway to help secure the future of the plumbing profession for generations to come. Through the Hallway Apprenticeship Program, in partnership with RWC, apprentices gain hands-on experience working on both commercial job sites and in residential services throughout the five-year program.

The Hallway Apprenticeship Program: A Path to Success

Hallway Plumbing offers a comprehensive 5-year apprenticeship program, with the help of sponsors like RWC. This gives students a unique opportunity to earn while they learn, which eliminates student debt while they earn their journeyman's degree. Apprentices can expect to earn close to $80,000 a year upon completion, with the potential to reach $100,000 within five years. The program focuses on equipping apprentices with all the necessary tools and skills for a successful career.

RWC's Role in Trade Education

RWC plays a crucial role in the apprenticeship program by providing funding, materials, and promoting the trade. We offer hands-on training on how to effectively use RWC products, ensuring that apprentices are familiar with every item in our product line. This collaboration helps to secure the future of the plumbing profession for generations to come.

Testimonials

Hallway Plumbing apprentices, now master plumbers, have been able to achieve above and beyond what they thought possible and look forward to passing on their knowledge.

A current first-year apprentice highlights the hands-on experience gained on commercial job sites and views plumbing as an art form that requires continuous mastery. The program has a proven track record, with seven journeyman plumbers and three master plumbers coming through since its inception eight years ago. The program is truly life-changing, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among its participants.

Everyday, I’m going to try to be better, not just for myself, but for people coming into the trade. Hopefully, they can learn from me as I learn from people I’ve been on sites with.
