It appears that the push to connect manifolds have 2 inlets. does one control one side and the other inlet the opposite side? How would I use a 24 outlet for cold water only if there are 2 inlets?

Asked by: George Betz
Hello, This manifold is split into 2 sections (1 side for hot and 1 side for cold). In order to use all outlet ports for cold water you will have to use a tee on the cold water supply line so you can connect cold water to both manifold inlets. Regards

1. Do these come with a push to connect fitting on the 3/4 inlet? If not, what fitting do you recommend? 2. Do these have a 3/4 outlet on the cold to feed the hot water tank?

Asked by: LJohnson
Hello, Our home run manifolds do not come with push-to-connect fittings on the inlets. The inlets are 3/4" MNPT (male national pipe tapered) thread so any fitting with FNPT (female national pipe tapered) thread will be compatible. Part # U088LF in the link below is an example. This manifold does not have a 3/4" outlet so we recommend using a tee to branch off the cold water line coming into the manifold to feed the hot water tank. http://www.sharkbite.com/product/female-connectors/ Thank you

I need to have 17 hot and 24 cold in a home run configuration.  What is the best way to configure?

Asked by: Dillon
Good afternoon, You will need two (2) 24 manifolds to complete this type of instruction. You can turn off the valves for the ports you don't need (so on the hot side, turn off 7 ports) and keep the cold manifold wide open. At this time, our manifolds can't be connected at the top, so you will need to branch off your cold and hot supply to connect to two (2) different ports.
